Went to 3 Rolex ADs in NYC for a DJ 41.

Not only didn't they have any, they all told me they couldn't even place an order for one! And they didn't know how long this situation would last...

Jeez, this is for a simple DJ, not a SS Sports model!

It's truly getting weird out there...

I’m estimating $18,500 to be a fair value for my Silver Surfer by Christmas.

    Ho ho ho.

There is nothing simple about a DJ. It is as iconic as a Submariner or a GMT. On par with the Explorer.

I don't think they meant it that way. After all, they are trying to buy one.

They were much more plentiful in Edinburgh and they were willing to place an order for you if they didn't have it. Not so much today...

Simple as "easier/more straightforward" to get. Now it's a new world...

That’s how I understood it too. Mate I haven’t seen a DJ41 in Sydney anywhere.

I am almost positive I've seen a few two tone DJ41s in ADs in Boston over the past week, but not sure I've seen any that are all stainless or stainless with WG bezel.

Come to Chicago, they have plenty at various AD's. That being said, I don't think the right word is "weird," it's frustrating. The Rolex boutique here did quote me 2 weeks for an Explorer though, but had to pay full up front.
