What age did you buy your first Rolex?

I’ve seen tons of articles suggesting you should buy one when you’re young with little to no responsibility and others that say you should buy it when you don’t need to worry about money. I’ve seen people who have bought one out of college and others for retirement.

I recently turned 23 and expect to buy my first Rolex by the time I’m 25. I have some other priorities such as a ring and a house but feel it’s still manageable. So... when did you get yours?

39 (in anticipation of my 40th). I didn't have two nickels to rub together when I was 25, so congrats on that.

You can travel the world for rolex money at your age. Buy a backpack, a one way ticket to Asia. Travel for 3 months and still have money left for a proper 25 year old guy watch when you get home

I got mine when I was 30 last year in May a month before my birthday. I'm 32 in June this year and since then I have bought 3 other Rolex's. It's a very addictive hobby! If I wasn't burgled I would have had 4 in my collection

Here was the height of my collection:

My Black Bay 58 and Air King were stolen in a horrible burglary attempt in January this year and so my collection looks like this now:

I value that advice. I would definitely say I value travel over watches. As of late I have been very disciplined with my money as I save to buy a house. I hate the idea of renting. If all goes well I plan on taking a week off of work to visit some Christmas markets in Europe next year with girlfriend.
