What should be my next Rolex?

    Hello!

I am some kind of confused, at my AD iam on the waitlist for a SkyDweller - I have bought some watches at them, so our “relationship” is somewhat good!

All tho, iam am still waiting, and iam unsure if the SkyDweller will arrive to me this year.. :(

Therefore iam on the lookout for an “easier” watch to get, maybe some two toned? I have considered a YM 1 Rose gold.. On the other hand I could also get a vintage 168000 from my birth year (‘87)? Or a Tudor “tiger” chronograph, although I like Rolexes the most...

    My budget is 18-20k$ (16-17k€)

If I use my full budget now, I can’t afford the SkyDweller if it arrives this year...

    What would you suggest?

Iam sorry for any grammatical errors, English isn’t my main language..

Personally, I would like the YM Rhodium dial to be my next Rolex.

That’s also a great looking Rolex!

Does that have a waitlist? Or are they more accessible?

I almost pulled the trigger on that. I love everything except the blue. I wish it was a navy blue or cobalt blue. That color seems so transitional.

Re: What should be my next Rolex?

I am confused as much as the OP is confused. The post is hardly coherent and I don’t know what he wants. OP is on the waitlist for a SkyDweller - yes. Got that.

While waiting, OP wants to buy another Rolex watch but only has a budget of 18-20k$ (16-17k€).

Then OP says that if he uses up his full budget now, he can’t afford the SkyDweller when it arrives this year.

So... OP wants another Rolex while waiting but doesn’t want to buy one because it will eat up his budget. Right.

My suggestion for you is don’t buy and wait patiently for your watch. If you’re in a hurry, you can always buy a Pagani special to plug the gap until your watch arrives. That way, you’ll not eating into your watch budget.

Only the OP can figure out what he wants, and that is the way it should be.

I know what you mean, but you must know that feeling “it’s time for a new watch” - I mostly want the SD - but what if It does not arrive this year - or maybe not even next year... it’s hard to wait :(

Mate it falls to me in a category most of us have experienced.." just because you can, does not mean you should" by that I mean cool the burn and enjoy your current pieces whilst awaiting your next from your favoured AD...not sticking my jaw out,.but I reckon most of us have bought, just to buy..
Now we have kept a few and wish we'd kept more but chased the next one too quick after last buy...
    Have a good one
