I went to one canadian AD, and they were willing to give me almost a 9% discount. I thought that was low, so I left without buying. Wondering what some other canadians got quoted for their Pelagos.
9% is better than I got at a US AD but I lived out of state so I didn't have to pay for Tax and shipping. About a 10% savings or at least that's how I justify it to myself.
Similar or even slightly better discounts in the Toronto area are regularly available from ad's with Rolex. Main difference in Alberta is alot less sales tax.
I got mine here in Ottawa and managed to get the tax off (13%) basically... they certainly weren't jumping over themselves because both the BB and Pelagos are flying off the shelves, they can't get them in fast enough.
A little off subject but how about a Tutor glamour. I'm looking to pick one up for my wife and I imagine they are not as hot of sellers as the Pelagos. What so you guys think is a fair discount?
Try pre-owned if you looking for really good bargains - got a pre-owned Rolex Explorer 214270 39mm - 2010 - for US$ 4045, with full papers and boxes (though no longer in warranty). Great condition it is in and hands are moving ever so smooth ....
Well, I went and got myself the Pelagos for xmas. I must admit, it looks great. I got a 17% discount.
