40mm Engineer II Red Label and Red Label GMT Dimensions

Hi all. I have Googled this topic and run a forum search and there is some conflicting information on the Interwebs. I am interested in the 40mm Engineer II Chronometer Red Label standard version (NM2026C) and the GMT version (GM2026C). I was hoping to find out the lug to lug on these pieces (I've read 50.5mm, 46.5mm, etc.) as well as the dial diameter. Can anyone supply me with this information? Much appreciated!!!!! [Not my pics]

Here is my review from when it was launched a few years ago:

I measured everything and triple checked and got it 50.5mm.

Samanator, thanks. I've seen measurements reported at around 47mm give or take on other posts for the 40mm case. I actually spoke with Toppers a couple of days ago and Rob said 47.5. Hmmm. Well, I ordered a GMT 40mm in white, so I will wait for it to arrive. I have smallish wrists. I hope your measurement is wrong! :)

The only thing I can guess is maybe some are measuring to the pin centers and I measured to the end of the lugs. That would seem to account for the difference.

40mm Engineer II Red Label and Red Label GMT Dimensions

This beauty arrived yesterday. I measured the lug to lug and per my measurement, it's at 46.5mm--definitely no more than the 47.5 that Rob mentioned and certainly much less than 50.5.

Not sure why our measurements are so disparate samanator (we are talking about the 40mm case, right?), but I am really pleased with the size on my 6.75 inch wrist. It's my first Ball and I am very impressed!

By the way, thanks to Rob at Topper for a fantastic deal and superb service!!

gtuck - Thanks! I had actually intended on purchasing the black dial variant but was informed that it is no longer available from Ball (at least in the US). I could probably have called around to a bunch of dealers, but I like dealing with Toppers and I'm glad I did. I really like this white dial. I'm thinking I am going to purchase a black strap (and I'd like to have a Ball deployment) as well, as I think that is a very sharp look for all of the white Red Labels.

I'm a sucker for white dials with splash of red by way of a GMT hand and that one is stunning. Nice one!!!!

Other than date GMT is my favorite complication. When I'm home I keep it set to indicate the local 24 hour time. When traveling I leave it there and set the primary time to where I'm at. By using it as 24 at home it helps during date changes if it is not on the winder.
