Another new one caught by the balls!

Hello everyone i recently came across ball watches after joining WUS about a month ago to do some research on my new watch purchase and i really do like them i am especially interested in the Trieste.

I actually bought a PO a week ago and ended up ordering a Doxa 800TI too to compare because i couldn't make my mind up and the PO wasn't giving me the buzz i thought it would from a watch i had been eyeing up for about 18 months but now i have seen this Trieste and its thrown another spanner in the works, i only like having one decent watch at a time so i will return the ones i dont want to keep, one big thing for me is the option to change to a rubber strap which the Trieste obviously has and i would have to order one for the PO and wait until they make one for the Doxa 800TI.

I also like the limited edition theme of the Trieste and the Doxa and the fact there is'nt many fakes about (if any) of these two brands where as the PO is a very nice watch they are simply too common and too many fakes about.

Anyway back to my reason for posting here, i have done a search and cant find anything but i am wanting to see the Trieste on the rubber strap so can anyone direct me to any photos of this or failing this can someone tell me if the rubber on the Trieste is contoured to the case like the strap on the PO, your help on this would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance your new ball buddy

I have owned Ball watches for 3 years now. Fabulous value ad quality for the money. I keep looking at other watches that I want but end up buying more Balls.

GO for it!! You will love them!

I would love to see Ball offer a PVD - black stainless steel strap for their hydrocarbon series.. I really like the black contrast with the titanium case. I alternate the black rubber strap with the stainless strap every couple of months or so. I like the convenience and toughness of the stainless strap, but I like the color contrast of the black rubber strap.
Other (watch) companies seem to be able to do PVD (I believe it's Poly-Vapor Deposition) I am hoping Ball can engage the right manufacturer to offer this in the future.
