Anyone have one of the Inspectors?

I was curious if anyone had one of the Inspectors. I find them a bit strange looking but wondered if a few wrist shots might change my opinion. I have not heard any mention of them on the forum either.

I was a timid bidder on the one up for auction on eBay last week. I didn't know it was only 38mm wide (can you say diameter if it's a square watch?), so my interest waned as the auction went on.

If you do a search of completed auctions, the pics might still be visible.

I have seen one person wearing it. Doesn't look outrageous while on a wrist IMHO. But Ball Watch is discontinuing the watch...

That watch is the model that got me into looking at Balls, but I have yet to see any good pictures of them or in person.

There are no more Inspectors being produced, but they are still being sold out of the warehouse.

Here's a link to some good photos on the USA website. They still sell pretty well in the States. It's a rugged chunk of watch, that's for sure!

The size of square and rectangular watches can be deceptive-- a 38mm wide square or rectangular case probably covers as much wrist area as a 42-43mm round case.
The best watch is the one that makes you happiest... and tells the time.

Wow. Cool. Looks like the front of an old time Locomotive. I would like to see one in person. Are they heavy? What are the lumes like?
