    Ball Diver Worldtimer

I didn't get the last one because it was 45mm. This one looks leaner and cleaner.

I like it a lot. Only thing is Ball has upped the price on their offerings & I feel they are pushing the limit on price of what I would pay.

I quite like this one as well. Size is much better, and it's got some nice color combinations. Need to see some real life images to really get an idea of what that busy dial will be like. It just might work, when seen in all it's dimensions (if that makes sense).

The 9-12 Arabic numerals just don't do it for me. Otherwise I'd love it.

i think that's because some of the pieces now have in-house movements.

Are the inhouse movements worth the price differential or will they simply increase the purchase and repair costs? Does the in-house movement add sufficient value?

The below $5K World-timer watches (like the Ball), will use a module on top of a base ETA movement (modular). Alternatively, a World-timer can use an inhouse from the ground-up Worldtimer. Even IWC, Montblanc Worldtimers use a base ETA + inhouse module.

So I don't think there is a choice.
Any World-timer will cost more to service compared to a standard GMT (ETA-2893) watch.

I love the Ball as it is Sporty- I don't like dress watches and a majority of WT are dress.
Ball makes a nice affordable WT:

I agree that the new world timer is a nice watch but I can’t accept the weird 12 and 9 made of the tritium tubes. Would have lived it if they just used double bars to indicate 12. Moreover, the price of the pre- order is just way over what I am prepared to pay for a Ball Watch. For that same money, I could get a Tudor, Breitling or Heuer Autavia so no thanks for me.
