Ball Engineer II Arabic Arabic 38mm - Yes/No Post

A good friend of mine asked me to flip his Ball Engineer II. I've sold watches for him in the past and I have been pushing him to select watches that match his stature. I don't believe 38mm is fit for him. With that said, I'm thinking about keeping the watch for myself. My wrist is around 6.75". I already own a Ball (pic below) and it is the anchor of my collection.

I'm not 100% sure about the size of the numbers. They seem a bit "large" for 38mm. What do you think? (this is the yes/no part)

I like the fit and weight.

Edit: I re-swizzled things a bit. I think I had one too many before posting.

That GMT is nice, find something else that complements it better

I've owned both, and much prefer the Engineer II to the GMT, it fits great on the wrist (mine is 6 7/8), and the fact that all FOUR numbers are shown, as opposed to just 12, 6 and 9, makes this very symmetrical at night--the large numbers is one of the things that make this watch what it is. Resale isn't high on this one (it's older, and small for some people), so personally I would keep it--in hand, it has more value than what you/he might get for selling it.

This won't help, but I like them both quite a bit. You can always test the market by selling it on f29 at a price you would find acceptable and if it doesn't fetch that price then keep it.

No need to test value. My Ball Eng II Red Label is not going anywhere. I already sold a similar 38mm E-II so, my expectations set.

    Thanks!
