    Ball Engineer Pioneer II Accuracy

Hi, Im new to the forum and I purchased a Ball Engineer Pioneer II about a month ago. This is my first COSC chronometer piece and Ive noticed that usually its +3/4 seconds per day, which to me is really accurate. However, Ive also noticed that certain days, after winding it up from a stopped state, its jumped +8 to +10 seconds in a day (happened 5 times in 4 weeks). I put this watch on a winder for 36 hours when I was wearing one of my other watches and when I took it off the winder it was +20 seconds. I wound and wore the watch 12 hours prior to placing it on the winder and it was +4 seconds. That was 3 days ago and since then its been +3 to +6 seconds per day. I know other watches can vary up to +/- 30 seconds per day but does this operation sound normal for a COSC watch or should it be more consistent? Or am I just being nitpicky? Thanks for your help!

I have two Ball watches with chronometer rated ETA movements--a TrainMaster WorldTime and Red Label GMT. Both keep time well within the -4+6 standard and are very consistent. Also own other brands with their own COSC movements. They also run consistently day to day compared to what you're experiencing. So, it's not normal from my limited experience.

I've got the same watch and it keeps +3/4 sec/day when I'm wearing it. I've noticed that it gains a little when it's off at night, or when I'm not wearing it.
