Ball Lover gets First Ball...Fireman White Face

I have loved Ball watches and longed to have one...a few weeks ago mission accomplished, grail secured! I found the perfect first BAll, a Ball Fireman 43mm White Faced Beauty. I really loved the white face, so many models come with the Black Face so this for me added to the appeal. Of course, tritium tubes glow like a crazy in 3 colors; Hands in green, markers a soft blue and the 12 marker in orange. I am excited to now be a part of the BALL Family!

Congrats! The Fireman watch is a rare find as they are no longer making them (I hear it is because it costs Ball as much to make the watch as what they sell it for.. now thats VALUE!).. I sold our last Fireman watch to a friend of mine and he loves it.

Anyway.. congrats on your first Ball Timepiece... they are an amazing value for the $ you spend!

Nice piece! I really like the black hands on the white dial - its a nice contrast and makes it easy to see. Looks very classy too. Congrats!

Congrats on a great watch. Thanx for those great pics as well. To me, this is the model that looks the most like the classic Ball wristwatches of yore (see below)

    kind regards,

I am ashamed to say...I don't know how to take Lume shots! That is on my short list of photography To Do's. Be patient with me.

i'm in the same boat... need a camera that will do greater than 2 seconds exposure... like 15 seconds exposure... and you need to have the camera be stable for such a long exposure, altho a table or other surface does almost as well as a tripod. unfortunately i don't have plans to purchase a new camera in the immediate future, so it's on the back burner to get better lume shots.
