    Ball Marvelight Ordered

    So here are the pics...
You can click on images for full size.

I had to remove 1 + 1/3 links on the bracelet to get it to fit on my 6 1/2" wrist.
Rob stated the tubes they used on the American version are bigger than the Skin diver. I don't own that watch, but the tubes are huge!
I can actually see the lume in moderate darkness or just by cupping my hand over the watch!

The watch itself seems large to me for a 40mm. I would have to say it wears more like a 42mm and is tall compared to some of my other Ball 'dress' watches (Victory and Moon-Phase) which could be an issue depending on how tight your cuffs are. I have a feeling there are some dress shirts I own that will not fit this watch comfortably under, but for the most part it shouldn't be an issue.

As far as the dial, It is a subdued blue IMO. It isn't as bright and flashy as some of the other blue dials I have seen, but it is nice. I personally like it very much, I would probably describe it as an 'ocean blue' (my girlfriend says it's Colonial Blue) color. Love how the blue dial has a different shade depending on the light.

Great watch for the price, very happy with my purchase!

    and some lume shots...

Here are some pics to see how it wears under a shirt.
The Blue shirt is a loose cuff and fits nicely. The Black shirt is a tighter cuff, one I probably wouldn't wear this watch with.

Oh Boy!! Make sure to post some wrist shots when you get it. The Marvelight Blue is the watch that’s on the top of my list right now.

I have been considering my first Ball watch and this is the model I am leaning towards. I am anxious to hear your thoughts on this when it arrives.

Posted some pics. Bracelet is too big right now, so off to the AD to get it adjusted.
Great looking watch. Just spoke to Rob and he said he will be doing a lume comparison on the forums soon.

    Ball Marvelight Ordered

Absolutely love it! So much so that I'm pretty sure Rob will be hitting my card for one later this year.

    Re: Ball Marvelight Ordered

Our photographer comes back tomorrow, and a Marvelight Post is one of our planned shoots. In the mean time here is a comparison photo to a SkinDiver with an iphone 5s. I think the The Marvelight deserves a long review, and comparisons with many similar pieces in it's design (other EM2s) and exposure comparisons with other signature Ball watches that are known for their tritium. (X-Lume...Aviator...etc)

    Re: Ball Marvelight Ordered

So I received a PM from a member asking how this watch wears under a dress shirt. I took some pics and added them to the 1st page.
This watch is a bit taller for a 40mm in my opinion and actually seems to wear more like a 42mm than a 40 on my wrist.
