    Ball Quartz Diver

    Hello , just saw this piece ....any thoughts? Interested in picking it up as a daily ....its (gasp!) Quartz!!!

    Saw one of these on the 'Bay recently — very cool. I'd personally go for a Marathon TSAR if that's the style you're going for. Otherwise, if it's an older Ball that you're after, snap it up! Cool piece of not-so-old history.

    Looks like a Traser or Luminox ... Having a hard time believing its a Ball

    I'm getting confirmation that it is real since most of these were Asian market only. Pretty sure there was never a Quartz Inspector, but confirming that also.

    Confirmation forthcoming or no, I am pretty sure the Ball quartz above is authentic, there are tons of these in Asia sold at reputable ADs, and have been "confirmed" previously on this site. Not so attractive, I think, but certainly there is a place for battery powered watches. Never heard of a quartz Inspector, but then the Inspector falls further below my Ball radar than even the Conductor, so probably wouldn't notice in any case.
