    Ball Trainmaster Dual Time

As per title, getting interested in this dual time model with yellow hands on subdial.
Was wondering if anybody has one and what’s his opinion on it.

    Very rarely seen watch.

I had one (got it cheap), great size and case using the common 41mm Trainmaster case--everything fine, EXCEPT for the one feature you referenced--the YELLOW hands on the subdial--the watch just never looked right--the yellow too distracting--so I moved it along. I would get the First Flight if I wanted dual time, same basic watch, but a more elegant rendering.

    Re: Ball Trainmaster Dual Time

    Thanks timefleas!

Actually I am considering between that and first flight but I kinda like the yellow hands, my nitpick is actually on the numerical on the dual time, seems a wee bit too large.

First flight is more subdued but the subdial hands are a bit harder to read.

The lume on dual time subdial is also a lot better, not sure if first flight subdial is lumed

    Re: Ball Trainmaster Dual Time

The subdial hands on the Flight are not lumed. The Dual Time should be cheaper which is certainly a plus, and if you like the yellow, then no problem. I like these both a lot better than the Aviator (44mm) GMT models, with 44mm Aviator case, and red central second time zone hand--the red always stood out too much, especially on the white dial, though the lume on the Aviators is great.

Yeah and the aviator bezel is a bit too thick and uninteresting too.

Trainmaster bezel has a nice step and nice polished/brushed mix.

Thanks again Timefleas, i knew i could depend on you for Ball watches input lol

    Re: Ball Trainmaster Dual Time

Here are pictures of the Dual Time (this one is the light dial, the dark dial has the yellow hands) and the First Flight version ("Limited Edition"--Ball is very confusing at times, with both watches sharing the same model #). The Aviator has a GMT version, which I had (both dark and light dials), with a center second hour hand (red)--no pict since no sub dial, but there is a newer dual time version of the Aviator (with the sub dial, but a red hour hand...)--the last picture.
