    Are Ball Watch Warranties Transferable?

I have found a brand new Engineer II Red Label at a very good price on ebay. I have messaged the seller about warranty who has replied that he buys 'close out' watches which apparently means from retailers going out of business and that there is no warranty? The seller has very good feedback and I see a picture with hang tags.
He suggested I speak to Ball to see if the warranty is transferable. He has also offered to replace or refund for a short period if there is a problem.
Should I be concerned and will the manufacturers warranty apply?
    Thanks Guys

While some companies do allow for transfer of warranties, Ball does not--Ball warranties are NOT transferable from the primary seller/owner to the secondary seller, so all Ball watches that you do not buy new directly from a Ball AD or directly online from Ball will NOT be covered by Ball. So NO, the warranty will NOT apply.

I was wondering that as well, so good to know.

If you're in the U.S. and buying from a U.S. seller, simply call Ball USA in Florida and ask them. They are nice folks, and I've always been given good customer service and had my needs met when I've contacted them.

Yes, of course it never hurts to ask--my own comments were primarily directed towards Ball USA, but in general, their lack of transfer warranty is fairly well known and has often been discussed here and elsewhere. Here are a few posts (and yes, I did contribute to most of them as well--been here awhile)--mostly older, but nothing's changed.

    Thanks all.
I think I may take the risk as the seller had promised to refund for a limited time.
