    Ball watches history - timeline

I would like to know when was the last "American" model produced (with Swiss movement, but while the Ball was still based in Cleveland and family owned) and when were the first "Swiss" models (collections) introduced. In the virtual museum on the Ball website is a Trainmaster from c. 1978. Was this the last American model? Were there any models without the tritium tubes after the company moved to Switzerland?

After some more googling it appears that the business in Cleveland was closed in 1962. Webb C Ball, founder's grandson, moved the business to Chicago. When did the family finaly sell the company?

As for the production of watches, wristwatch Trainmaster with Swiss movement was introduced in 1959 (afaik).

I would still like to find out when were the first Ball watches with tritium tubes produced. 2004?
