Question Are Ball Watches part of the Swatch group?

Are they an independent watchmaker or in the Hayek conglomerate?

a perpetual would greatly exceed 2-4k. The work involved in preparing a perpetual calendar movement is tremendous. The GO stainless perpetual has an MSRP of over 10k and is one of the most affordable models I have seen.

One thing that also might be exciting is an annual calendar. The DD module synchs nicely to the 2892 and has been used by UN and MLC among others, Carl Bucherer as well I believe. MSRP would still exceed 5k but I can consider selling a pinky toe or something

One day I'd love to own a true mechanical perpetual, but I'll gladly accept a Ball Annual Calendar

sadly, i must concur, although you can find a handful of true automatic perpetual calendars in the ~$5-10k range, new, as well as some annuals. i would also gladly settle for an annual, particularly if it placed the watch in my price range, or just above it
