    Crystal Question- Possible Repair

Hello! I have a Ball Fireman Stormchaser Pro which is one of my favorite pieces in my collection. I have had this watch for about 6-7 months. I noticed a few months ago that something is going on with the crystal. At first it looked like bubbles and I though I had forgotten to take of a protective plastic layer but there doesn't seem to be one on there. Then I thought that the crystal needed to be cleaned... but it seems that whatever this is ... is UNDER the crystal.

Anyone have any experience with this and may know how I can get this remedied? Thanks!
For reference, it is on the left side of the watch around where the small seconds hand is pointing.

    Thanks in advance!

This is a common issue that I've seen only in this model. It's the AR coating on the inside of the crystal. If it's under warranty, send it back. If not (like mine) go to a local jeweler to have it polished off.
Total BS that this seems to be a problem on this model.

Thanks for the reply. That's a shame that it is only happening with this one model. This is such a sharp piece. Any idea what a jeweler might charge to do something like this? Thanks!

I'll check with the jeweler next door to my office. $45 is worth it to not have to go through the warranty process and send the watch away not knowing if/when I'll ever see it again haha.

Should be an easy and cheap correction for a good watchmaker.

I agree, it is better than trying the warranty route.

    Good luck.
