    Disaster - help needed

Hi everyone this is my first post and I need your help, I have just serviced my Fireman II and whilst rebuilding picked up the hour hand with my tweezers and (yes you've guessed it) popped the tube . Yes I picked it up in the wrong place . I can use a local dealer to replace both the hour & minute but they want to charge me £100 for fitting them. Can anybody supply these or suggest where I maybe able to purchase a set

    Thanks Phil

They are a NRC controlled item and Ball does not even supply parts to the AD in the US. Your only hope may be trying to contact MB Microtech with the size and color since they maybe able to supply some to you. Otherwise you'll need to send the watch to Ball.

Thanks but I've tried emailing MB but they won't answer. Hate the thought of having to spend £100 for someone else to fix this. Lesson learn't the hard way

    Thanks for the reply Phil

Sorry to hear this. I always imagined that the glass tubes were quite fragile and now we know that for sure. Ball will make it right- I would let them handle it.
