Does anyone have pictures of what is inside this watch

Hello - I am new this forum, just recently received my first Ball watch, EMII Diver. I have searched everywhere for pics on the 2836-2 movement contained therein. I realy would like to see the finish etc. Would anyone on this forum have access to any pics?

    Much appreciated .. Brian

The gasket on the caseback is pretty low risk, nothing beats seeing the movement in person. Take it off yourself or have a watchmaker remove it for you so you can take a look

I hate to say it but chances are REALLY good of looking in there and seeing a really basic, uninteresting, mostly undecorated ETA 2836 movement. Ball is not one that is known for decorating movements (unless the watch has a display back).

Otto Frei has pictures of various ETA movements that you can see without opening up the case yourself. They show a gold-plated version of your movement. I'm not aware of any sources that show your model's exact insides.

Probably something almost EXACTLY like that except with Ball's name on the rotor. It certainly isn't worth voiding your warranty and compromising the water resistance to have a look inside.

Re: Does anyone have pictures of what is inside this watch

Thanks for the replies and the pics, exactly what I was looking for; I suspected the movement was simply finished - makes sense since the case is not see through. A few ball models have a see through back; the finish there still is not fancy but acceptable - besides my preference is for Ball to spend time on things that I see and touch rather than fancy innards that I don't. :)
    Cheers.

I much prefer Ball's solid engraved casebacks anyway- they're done like coins!
