Fireman Night Train DLC Watch Strap Alternative

    Hello guys,

I'm fairly new in here but quite a huge fan of Ball WATCH.
I own the new Fireman Night Train DLC and was wondering about an alternative strap for the original black rubber strap.
Any thoughts (or picts) you guys would like to share?

And also after wearing it for quite a while, i notice some kind of white spots on the black rubber strap; this quite bothering me
Any comment on how to clean / keep it clean?
I lived on humid and hot weather condition so i might sweat quite a lot during the day.

    Thanks for the input!

Welcome to the Ball forum. We like people with Ball(s). LOL

The white spot is coming from you.. mineral deposits. :) Probably best to raise and towel dry off your straps every so often to avoid build up like it. I use soft brush toothbrush + liquid hand soap for my general clean of watch, strap, bracelet, head and all.

BTW, Fireman Night Train is a lovely watch. Well done.

I don't have that particular watch, but I do have other DLC and black PVD finish watches. Here are a few with aftermarket straps for your reference.

I believe that has 22mm lug width (Flip it over what is the number on the back of the Ball strap). You have about 2 Million options. If you want different rubber the high end would be an Isofrane or a Hirsch Extreme that are available in multiple colors. Personally on a DLC watch I'm kind of a fan of some of these baseball glove custom straps. At less than $30 forum sponsor crown and buckle has some very nice distressed leather. Here are a few examples with my GO Navigator Pilot with no distress (L) to the right the very distressed (R).

It looks great on a chocolate brown strap, IMHO.

Re: Fireman Night Train DLC Watch Strap Alternative

Just got one myself... The dealer I got it from threw in a leather Ball strap, kind of pilot looking with the rivet. I'm going to swap them when I get the spring bar remover I just BINed on ebay. It is kind of a chocolate brown, might put off ordering a D9 for it for a while (but probably will anyhow, LOL.)

Here it is on the watch... Not bad! So I reckon any Ball AD could get you one.
