    Grey Dial Fireman 43mm???

hello all im fairly new here to the forums and i am looking for my first auto. Balls have been one of my choices and i was wondering if any of you are familiar with the Grey Dial Fireman 43mm b/c all i see on the forum are the black faced ones? Their US website doesnt say anything about it but there "worldwide" one does. Is this piece not available in the US? Thanks for your help and time.

    Welcome to our forum!

Unfortunately I do not know the answer to your question. That being said, I have seen a few floating around the forums, being sold as pre-owned. I would be surprised if it was not available.

I am certain Ball Watch USA will stop by this post and clear things up for us.

In the mean time, here's a quick pic I found on-line:

If this is the model you are after, I sure hope you find one and share your expericne with us.

Once again welcome to our forum, make yourself at home!

The Fireman series come in Black or White face. The one pictured above is the white dialed version. No grey faces in the Fireman series.

And the White and Black face are both available in the US. Any dealer can get you the model you want, 34mm, 40mm or 43mm with your choice of accent colors in the tubes.

Thanks for you help all the only reason i said "grey" is b/c that is what the worldwide site has it under. So are the white faced ones just rarer b/c everyone buys a black faced one?

Both are widely available, and both seem to sell very well, so it is a matter of personal preference.

That's what Ball Watch USA calls white. Same ones I have seen in person, not a pure white, but close..The inner chapter ring is probably reflecting the SS Case onto the dial and also from the chapter ring itself.

I think i will have to call my nearest AD and see if i can order that one....looks pretty good to me. Anyone know of an AD who will take more than the average 10% or so off?

I would have to think that your loacal dealer shouldbe able to do better than that. Check the Ball USA website for a list of nearby dealers.

By the way, I have the white/cream dialed Fireman Ionosphere chrono and I love it! You will really enjoy the Fireman, especially in the dark!

Happy hunting and report back when you catch your prey!

Well, I know that a white dialed Fireman would be the ticket for a lot of folks here. Ball lists it as a white dial variant, but some of the pics sure look like silver.

I, myself, still prefer the black dial version over a white one...but think a silver dial would look fabulous for a Fireman!

I LOVE the looks of that silver dialed EMII Diver TMT Ltd. Ed.!
