    Halloween Night Train

I purchased a Night Train off of the forums here and received it today, Halloween. Pretty fitting day to get one of these as I have had my eyes on one for some time. I was able to score an original blue, yellow and green dial and I am not disappointed.

The night train is a good blend of utilitarian design that can be dressed up. The DLC finish is very scratch resistant and gives the watch a low-key refined look. No hint of scratches when I changed out the strap to a Di-Modell Chronomissimo.

Trick or Treating with the kids tonight was a lot of fun with this watch on my wrist. The lume is simply off the charts and I'm not sure there is a better choice of quality auto with lume. I'm a big fan of tritium, having used it in firearms and flashlights, and have come to appreciate it for the all-night lume it provides. The three colors of the dial are simply outstanding and provide a very readable contrasting picture.

Thanks to this forum for providing a research base to make the decision to buy a Night Train. I feel very good about this choice.
