This might be tricky. I do not know if MB Micro Tech would sell to you directly their tubes.

As I understand it the tubes are glued or held in place by very special tape to the arms and faces of the watch.

Well you are much braver than I if you would try to change the tubes yourself...

    Best of luck to you!!!

I bet Ball would do it for you...for a price!!!

I have no idea. I would call Ball directly.

Well it would be a tricky question/request that you might have to wait for an official reply.

Let me ask the question a little differently. I'm considering a Ball purchase as a future heirloom for my son who was born this year (of course I would break it in for him for the next 21 years or so).

So, my question is that if the gas tubes have a 25 year life, what happens then? These watches are clearly built to outlive the tubes. How would I (and all of you) get your tubes replaced in a quarter century when they lose their juice?

Italiano/Troika, I have asked this question as well, in terms of customizing the colors, but never really received a straight anwer. Anyway, here is a recent thread (now closed) with some discussion about replacment of the tubes in general.

The history of the Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Show dates back to what year, when there was established the first Schweizer Mustermesse Basel (MUBA) with a special section devoted to watches and jewellery?

Actaully HK BALL has already given quote to their customer for H3 tube replacement but the figure is almost the price of as new Luminox or Alexander Christie or something. Consider that all uses Mb H3 tube, it make no sense even if you consider the labour cost. The HK owner make a big fuss in their chinese forum- (www28.discuss.com.hk). Anyway this kind of stuff is something that they do not really want to discuss so better drop the ideal of asking unless your tube need a real replacement.
