I don't want to send the watch in, I just want to get the part and I'll put it in myself. Anyone know how to get this part replaced?

Contact Ball Watch USA if you are in the US and Canada and they should be able to help you, or put you in the right direction.

I wonder how many of us have the same problem? I will also try to contact Ball Watch USA when I get a chance, probably Friday.

FWIW, when I bought my Ball from NE Jewelers in St. Pete (in the same building as Ball Watch USA) the salesperson told me gas tube repairs are only done in Switzerland....

The missing piece in question is not really a light tube, but a small luminous pip in the bezel. It is (I believe) just super-luminova like the rest of the bezel.
I can understand that "tubes" are factory only servicing--this SL pip should be an easy fix IMO.

Re: How do we get a replacement tube missing above 12 O'Clock in the bezel?

There is actually a tiny tube under a lens inside the pip. This piece can only come out from the back side of the bezel insert. It is likely that when you removed the bezel insert (like I do) to clean underneath it and clean the glowing rubber insert under the bezel insert, that the Pip fell out and you didn't notice. The only way it can come out the front is if the hole that it sits in is too big or mis-shaped as the pip has a shoulder that prevents it from going through the hole to the front.

If the part can be attained, reinstalling it is a 2 minute job assuming the bezel insert is OK.

Actually, it's a tritium gas pip. It is a tiny tube placed upright.
