    Introduction

    Hi all,

I have just heard that my New Ball (Fireman 40mm) watch is on it's way to me.

A Friend has collected it for me.

    A little about myself.

As you can see from the list at the base of this post i am a bit of a WIS.

I only joined this forum today after a friend (The same one who collected my Fireman for me) alerted me to a particular thread.

I am usually to be found (Dare I say this ?) on the TimeZone forum. I have been a fairly prolific poster there having now amassed over 13,000 posts since December 2004.

I will try and tow the line here and will enjoy chatting, and swapping info with you all.

    Oh yes ...
I first discovered ball watches whilst in Florida for a long weekend at a watch GTG organised by the same friend who
    alerted
    me to this forum.
I did have the pleasure of meeting Jeff Hess at the time.
(Jeff - You are a bad man ! .. You got me interested in yet another brand. LOL)
    Regards,

Welcome Charles, make yourself at home!

It is a very exciting time for us and Ball. The new watches are finally hitting the stores and being gobbled up. Stick around, you will love it. Only problem is deciding which Ball is next...

    Tell me about it !

I am forever deciding which watch is next.

I am delighted to know I am not alone in getting "Stuck" with that decision.

Now we will sure turn the tables, and help you purchase many Ball Watches... They are addictive, as I don't know many who stop at only one..

Welcome aboard Charles and congrats on the new Ball. Looks like it will be in pretty good company there (with those Pateks and all).

Like the others have said, I just got my first Ball less than a month ago, and have the next one coming in about a month... Enjoy the Fireman and post pics when you get it...

    Ha !

as some of you have guessed - I am the guilty guy who picked up the
Fireman for Charles and will be delivering it to him personally in London
on THU. (Charles, you are so lucky to have friends like that....lol

BTW, it is looking great, Charles....check out the picture above
Looking fw. to see you on THU and many other guys on SAT for our little London
WIS GTG.....James D. will be there...maybe we can have Jeff join us live via Skype ...LOL !!

BTW, welcome to the forum. ...it is a nice group of guys here with great
input from Ball directly via Jeremy and Jeff....a WIS could not ask for more.......

So....what will be your next one ???
I know that you just got pretty involved in scuba last few weeks and I bet
you will be intrigued by EM II diver or maybe even by my Mad Cow - when
    you see 'her' in person.

I am thrilled with the Mad Cow. My other dream BALL would be 40/41mm
SS case or DLC /black 60 tube NT dial Fireman with black date and red 2nd Time zone GMT
hand (inside track showing 1-24hr scale instead of the current minutes....(PLEEEEEEEAZE)

See you at Gatwick THU morning, my friend
