    My first Ball!

    Howdy all,

Been looking at Balls for a while now...(yikes)

and I finally pulled the trigger and picked up this little beauty, used. Trainmaster Officer 21st Century Limited Edition. I wanted a hand-winder with a mid-sized case size. For scale, I have a 6.5" wrist. I will keep you updated on this as I get to know it better, but so far, so good!

Beautiful! Congratulations. I love the vintage style - is that an enamel dial BTW?

One of my favorites, but you know, it's OK to simply let the "ball" related jokes go--perhaps leaving that to the uninitiated--those outside the "ball club"--no?

Here are a few from my archives of the black dial version.

Very nice choice , especially for a starter Ball !! I'm a long time Trainmaster fan.. I picked up another Cannonball recently. In my opinion, nothing speaks to the history, heritage & character of Ball like the TM designs. From the "RR" to the "logo'ed 7", it tells the Ball story. That said, my next one will probably be a Hydrocarbon Original or Moon Navigator..
