I'm a bit stressed here. I got my Trainmaster Heritage a couple of months ago and have been loving it. However, a few weeks ago I noticed a red piece of lint had somehow made its way onto the dial. It was visible to the naked eye and, being a WIS, it drove me nuts. So, I contacted the good folks (real good folks) at Ball USA and they told me to send it to them to fix the problem.
The watch went out last Tuesday (10/9) via USPS Registered Priority. To date, the watch has not arrived in St. Pete. USPS does not have any idea at this point where the watch is because their record show that it is still at the office of acceptance. USPS said that did not make sense.
I have a bad, bad feeling about this. Any thoughts? I thought USPS Registered was the safest way to ship.
If the watch has indeed gone missing (stolen), what is the claims process like? How long should I expect to wait for compensation? What can expect from the whole process?
