New Ball Owner - World Timer eroute

Mainly like diving watches, but when I saw this beauty - just had to have it. This will be my first Ball and really looking forward to wearing it. Don't usually wear a watch to bed, but gonna make an exception on this one. At least for a few nights....I figure that's about how long my wife will put up with me holding my wrist up and looking at the lume

Hoped to have it today...but looks like Monday from the tracking info. Bought new from the seller and he took a few pics for me. Thought I'd share with the group. I'll post some of my own, after receiving the watch.

Thank you for those GREAT pics! Wow - can't wait for the watch to arrive. Does the bracelet use screws or pins for removing links? Also, are there two independent bezels - for time and city names?

    Hi ebiz,

    Congrats on your incoming WT!

That watch is so much better looking in photos, than it is in the artist illustrations that I've seen. It's a beauty, especially with the white guilloché dial and blued hands.

I hope that you'll post pics and first impressions when you can.

Oh, and the bracelet has screws for the links.
    Take care,
    Geoff

    WOW Marc !!!
Those are some stunning shots.....that dial is really gorgeous. I love especially
that 3/4 angle shot with bright lume markers !!

    I have a question though:.......

"I see the cities on the bezel, but how does it's WorldTimer function work since I see no
other moving sections of the dial, no additional hand or no pusher for quick hour
hand adjustment (for example like with Patek 5110 or 5130).

    Thanks in advance.

I works quite easily. The bezel moves in two portions. One is the standard time bezel, the other being the city bezel.

The user uses the main hour hand to set the world time. User is in New York city, and it is 1:00 pm (1300 hours). The user then lines up New York on the world time bezel to 1300 on the main face (inner portion of dial), and then they can read all times throughout the world.

Of course each time you want to use this function, you have to match the 24 hour hand to the 12 hour local time.

I hope this explains it easily...

Thank you Warren. Didn't you mean to actually say that:
"The user uses the main hour hand to set the HOME time".
Then in makes sense....user moves bezel to 13 if it is 1PM and he lives on
the east coast of US and then reads the times in the rest of the world from inner
black 1-24 scale on the outer ridge of the dial.
I guess it is not as elaborate as other WolrldTimers calibers, but still
pretty easy and partcical to use (not to mention the great price )

    Thank you again.
    Milos
