New to the collection - Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Classic II

Good day everyone. I just added this one to the collection. The OEM bracelet is not a good fit (I prefer a tapered bracelet), so I have it on a black nato right now. Thoughts?

I think that strap looks great on that watch.
Was it difficult to fit it to the Hydrocarbon double posts? What brand did you use?

    Really sharp!

Thanks! I actually only used one of the screw pins (the outer one).
The strap is Maratac, but it came with a watch I bought, so I am not sure which specific model, although it feels thicker like a Zulu but with NATO hardware.

Update - I looked at the strap this morning and realized it's not Maratac. I am not sure the brand.

Another update - here's another pic - this time on a Ball OEM Fireman Racer Rubber Strap. I have it on the inside screw pin this time which I liken to the VSA Dive Master 500 where there are two sets of lug holes - the outer one for the bracelet and the inner one for the rubber strap.

Looks better with the rubber strap. IMHO

Thanks. I am enjoying the look and feel of the rubber strap. I have worn this watch three days in a row which is saying a lot since I usually switch almost daily!

Nice looking watch. Should have plenty of legibility at night with that one… Congrats on your new Ball!
