New to Forum (and new Ball)

    Hi Everyone,

This is my first post, but I've been lurking for awhile now.

I just had to share with you a picture of my new Ball! It's my first Ball and I really love it! Everything the reviews have said about it is true. It is just such a beautiful timepiece.

This is my first foray into more expensive timepieces (as you can tell from the other two watches in the picture), and I am really overjoyed with this purchase!

    Just had to share!

    Regards,

Very nice! Planning to get one myself. Still deciding on what color to get.

    Thanks guys!

I decided to go with the green. Don't really know why but the orange didn't really do it for me. It's definitely a matter of personal preference but to me, the green looks very cool and stylish, plus it matches my style of dressing better than the orange. I'm more of an earthty colors person, if you know what I mean. But if I wore louder colors, the orange might have suited me better.

    Thanks for the warm welcome.

jaymd - I got it from an AD in Singapore, and I'm afraid it doesn't come with the rubber strap. I was really hoping it did, and I considered getting the strap as well, but then decided that it could wait a little bit. I can always pick the strap up later if I feel I wanted to, so no problem there.

mt_hangglider - My wrist size is about 6 inches. It's pretty small compared to the majority of people on WUS, judging by the poll on the Omega Forum. However I find that for me personally, the Ball EMII Diver looks smaller than my Seiko Monster on my wrist, even though they're both 42mm. I think it's because of the way it's shaped. I think it's a really good size on my wrist, but would probably fit most people quite easily. Also don't forget that the lens of my camera is a little wider than most, so it does distort the picture a little, so I definitely recommend you try it on first if you can.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks! Nice wrist shot BTW. I also have a small 6.25 wrist. The hydrocarbon IMO was too big for me. Will take a look at my local AD again this weekend.
