    New Moon Phase Question

    Hi guys.

I just picked up my new EM II moon phase the other day .

I love it. Great stuff. It's an awesome watch all around, I'm sure I do not need to get into the reasons on this forum!!

Quick question. I set the date and moon phase a couple days ago. The date changes a minute or two before midnight every night, which is great .

The moon phase though, doesn't seemed to have advanced at all after two nights, which makes me curious - how often does the moon phase dial change? Should it advance every night with the date or does the moon phase change less frequently?

I hope I didn't get a dud, or that I broke it somehow! Then again I am paranoid!.

    Thanks folks!!

    Re: New Moon Phase Question

the moonphase changes between 7 and 8pm, I forget exactly when, but should be advancing daily. Each step is very small and it looks different from different angles.

My gut tells me it's moving, please keep us posted and enjoy!
    kind regards,

I'm also quite interested on this watch, and I may most probably be my next Ball.

So the moon phase changes between 7-8, is this am or pm? Also, does this mean that it is not advisable to adjust the moon phase during this time zone? Will it damage the movement if you do so?

Thanks for the replies . I'll keep an eye on it tonight. Do the moons rotate clockwise? I may not have noticed movement because I was expecting movement in the opposite direction.

Watch this January schedule for the moon phase, and compare it with your watch over the next few days. This is just one of many, many sites that you can use to see if your watch moon phase is working correctly.

Thanks Jeff, that'll definitately help me set the moon phase. I just hope its moving, it doesn't look like it's changed over the past couple days. I'll be watching closely tonight!

I use Stardate too, Jeff. And I'll also use this as a comparison to the watch itself also:
