I've never had a large watch fit my wrist so perfectly as a Hydrocarbon. It doesn't move around, unlike my PO and Doxa. The shape also makes the rubber strap hug the wrist everywhere. From the pics below, you can see that the rubber straps on the PO and Doxa both stick out before bending to fit my 8 inch wrist. The Mad Cow doesn't have that problem.

Forgive me if you seen these before on other threads.

Planet Ocean (notice the gap between my wrist and lugs):

Doxa SUB750T Sharkhunter (again, the gap):

    Mad Cow (no gap!):

    Hey Rob,

Thanks for posting those comparison shots!

It was really something seeing how differently these three fine timepieces "draped" over your wrist. Two seemed to have very little curvature of the lugs, while, with your Hydrocarbon Mad Cow, it looks like Ball took a mold of your wrist and then created the HC case to fit your mold...perfectly.
As chunky as the HC clearly is, compared to your other two watches, I'd guess that the Mad Cow is more comfortable on your wrist, and its heavier weight probably isn't that noticeable.

    Hi Jaymd,

Have fun at your AD! Fireman or Magnate in white? Either one's a winner. Of course, you could always make it easier on yourself...and just get both! Keep us posted...and don't forget...pics!
    Take care,

The wifey has approved another watch purchase! Although she likes the white magnate better than the fireman Goes well with smock gowns and scrubsuits she said. But she had one condition..... Give her my beloved black Omega SMP. Naturally i said OK!

Hum... Wouldn't be great if live only had these kind of decisions?

Both are great, but I fear once you see the white dial and thos blued hands, it will be all over for you!

    HAPPY HUNTING!
