    Night Train vs. Day Train

Side-by-side NT lume vs. DT lume:

    A bit more light:

    Night Train 12 o'clock close-up:

    Day Train 12 o'clock close-up:

My question: Should I swap cases? I really wonder what the white dial would look like in the DLC case. Photoshop anyone?

I am not sure if the white dial would look any good in the DLC case,
    probably clashing quite a bit....

...but I bet the black dial will be bitchin' in the SS case

Well, decidedly crude, but this gives you an idea of the white dial in the dlc case... q&d...

I like the SS/black better but the DLC/white is actually not bad at all

Archimede makes a white dial pilot watch in a PVD case. Check it out on their web site, it is quite nice. Too bad the hands don't contrast enough. Otherwise awesome.

I think the NT looks best as it is with the blue tritium NT with DLC bracelet?

Thanks! I wish I had that kind of talent w/Photoshop.

I definitely would like the black NT w/SS case, but now that I've seen your white dial/DLC mock-up, I don't think I'll do the switch. If I did switch, I'd probably flip the watch and get another white one, just so I can have both black and white dialed NTs w/SS cases. I have to admit, though, that the look of the black dial w/DLC case is growing on me. Maybe I need to rethink my rejection of the Doxa SUB750T Military.

Ball really hit one out of the park with the NTs. They are fantastic!

    Hey Rob,

Great side by side's of your two Trains! Thanks for posting them!

    Great Photoshop illustrations, Steve!

And I agree--that black dial set in the brushed ss case(with matching bracelet) looks fabulous!

Btw, Congrats on getting your "Day Train", Rob! Very cool! When'd you get it? You've been on a tear, and it's hard to keep up with you!
    Take care,

    Nice comparison shots, thanks!

I actually think the green minute markers look good with the white dial and SS case. Although it would be nice if there was a version with blue as well, for comparison. Also, from those pictures, the blue markers seem to make the hour markers stand out more... but perhaps that could also be due to the black background, as opposed to white...

After seeing the photoshop of the white dial in the DLC, I can't say I quite like that combination, but I do like the black dial in the SS case!
