    NT on NATO

Well, it's a nice sunny Saturday so I decided it was time to use sunlight for some photos and see how they'd turn out. A couple of guys here had asked to see my Night Train on the NATO strap I selected for it. This khaki 20mm strap fits better than the 22mm I tried so will stick with this one until something else strikes my fancy. The NT you all know and have seen many of by now, but mine is the first I've seen on a khaki NATO, so thought I'd share for what it's worth........

A different look for the Night Train...and very, very nice!

Are NATO's as comfortable to wear as they appear?

Thanks for posting them up, Chris! :thanks

Very nice! That NT DLC case is very versatile. Seems like you can put any colored/type strap on that case. The case looks dark brown with the brown nato

I love this model and the band you chose is compliments the watch nicely.

I like the two piece ones the best. Great color on that one, looks super good with the watch.

    Hi Brian,

Thanks very much for posting up the pic of the Maratac Zulu brand "NATO" style straps, and for your comments on how these style straps aren't all the same in terms of thickness, feel, and comfortability.

Now, here are some dumb questions--what does "NATO" stand for? Is it a reference to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and, if so, was this style strap standard military issue for the NATO forces? Was there also a standard military issue watch that went with it? Very interesting stuff here.
That symbol by the Maratac Extreme logo is the Navy Bravo Zulu symbol, meaning, "Well Done", right? Thanks, ahead of time, for helping the clueless and curious!

Thanx Brian. I didn't know that. I associate the term with the Military, which I shouldn't, as the style of band predates NATO.

Here is my one and only timepiece on a Nato. Sorry, it is not an old Ball.
