Note the last watch... this was one before Ball began his own manufacturing using others ebauches. The one pictured was made to Balls Spec by (can you see the signature?) VAcheron and Constantin!

    Superior watch!

I voiced this one in the past, how about a Ball Pocket watch that doubles up as a desk clock? It will make a great bedside or travel companion. I am sure many of us members of the Ball cult...LOL....would love a replica; remnicient of this great classic. I imagine us gazing at the lume at night till we fall off to sleep....ok, how about it?

My apologies for getting off track on topic.

OK I have a question for you vintage guys. I know B. of R.T. stands for Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, and I guess B. of L.E. stands for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineer and a guess is B. of L.F. stands for Brotherhood of Locomotive Fireman?

I still don't understand how these all reference to a watch other than these were separate approvals? It would seem that B. of R.T. would be the best to have since it implies that it covers any type of railroad men? Can anyone explain how these work because I see each called out separately in each add? I've been very interested in this since while researching family history on my fathers side I found my Great Grandfather was a conductor in Canada.
