POLL: Which NEW Ball complication do you prefer?

    Hi Guys,

I find that Ball watches have come up with some pretty interesting new complications latetly. Which is your favorite and why?

    The Linear Power Reserve?

    The inner / mechanical thermometer?

    Or the Illuminated date display?

Maybe you have another complication you like that I have not mentionned. Share with us your opinions and thoughts...

I would say the linear power reserve. Its impressive how ball managed to find other applications for the tritium tubes! Although the bimetallic thermometer aint so bad either

Personally, I don't like my watches complicated at all---a simple, legible, uncluttered dial that gives me the time is what I need. Heck, I don't even like dates on my watches since I can't see date windows without stopping and putting on my glasses. You younger guys will understand my preference in a few years when your eyes don't focus so well anymore.

Me likes the linear power reserve A power reserve complication lets you know when to wind if you don't wear the watch for a while. Very useful.

I think that the linear power reserve(looking like a train traveling between stations) and the tritium tube-illuminated date display are both very cool!

I was really hoping to see the one in the Moon Glow at my AD, but he never seems to have one in stock!
    Take care,

I do like the illuminated date, but for me it's not much use so if I had my preferences the linear power reserve gets my vote. I don't wear the same watch every day and it would be nice to know how long before my Ball runs down. The linear presentation is a neat way of showing this.

For me it is the moon phase. Ball really went the extra mile to make the moon tritium.

    Tough call.

What I would like is actually to have all the extra functions of the watch 'tritium-ized'.

Meaning for example, if it had a power reserve and date, that they both have tritium, so both are visible in the dark. Same for thermometer and date, or UTC and date, or chrono and date, etc... That would be beautiful!!

Because sometimes, I have this beautiful tritium watch that I can read the time off perfectly in the dark, but I can't tell what date it is... lol...
