Q&D shots of my new Night Train

Sorry for the poor quality, but I had to do this fast so I could get out the door for a meeting tonight.

Cool case back. Not what we had seen before, if I recall rightly

    On my 8" wrist

2 holes to spare, but not if I want to use the keeper

    Lume!

    Pitch dark lume!

Yes, it is lighter than PVD. You notice this especially in the daylight, more so than indoors.

The jury still is out for me on DLC simply because I favor SS and not black cases. Maybe if this look doesn't grow on me, I'll see if I can send it back to Ball to have them transfer the watch into an SS case ... or sell me an SS case so I can have my watchmaker do the swap.

Congrats Rob... and even if you do swap it out, I would swap the case back too - it is awesome looking...

Wow Rob, that caseback is beautiful!! Love that light shining out the front of the train!! And the lume shot is really nice too!! We haven't had a proper real pitch dark Night Train lume shot either...

    Thanks for the pics!!

Not sure any watch company would just sell you a case, but you can
always buy ANOTHER regular 43mm SS Fireman and swap the caliber with dial.
I think that DLC cased regular Fireman with black dial would be a hot looking watch
and should sell easy (and perhaps you could almost break even on the whole
experiment 'without trying to buy a separate case'

Yeah... I know....2 Frankewatches but 'both great looking' and we are not talking about thousands .....

    ...just a thought.....
