Serial number on Ball Mad Cow

    Hi.

Where do I find the serial number on my Ball watches? I'm especially interested in the serial number for my Mad Cow. I bought the watch brand new from a "grey-market" dealer. The guarantee card is filled out with country of purchase, date of purchase and model number but the serial number is missing. I thought it wouldn't harm to make an online registration of the watch on the Ball home-page although it wasn't bought from an AD.

Serial number is engraved lightly on the caseback. Look carefully, use good light and a magnifier if it helps. Did your seller indicate serial numbers were intact on what they sell? If not explicitly stated, then the serial number may very well have been removed and the watch has lost its pedigree and any warranty coverage by Ball. Look again closely and you may see the serial # there. Let us know what you find.

    Thanks for your reply, Chris.

Yes, I found it. I didn't even need magnifier or extra light It is (now) very clear and next to the model number  Maybe I should just have looked more carefully.

The watch was bought from a trustworthy dealer (although not AD) and there has been no attempt to cheat or remove the serial number!!
