I placed an order for a Cannonball about 3 weeks ago at my local AD. At the time, they were quoting about 4 weeks until it should show up. I'll give them a ring this week to see if there is an update on scheduled delivery.

    Hi Shawn,

Welcome to WUS and the Ball Forum!

From what I've heard, Ball has not shipped out their Night Trains from Switzerland, yet, so they're probably a little behind in their orders. I don't think that they were expecting demand for the Night Train to be quite as heavy as it has been...and I suspect that this has probably pushed back their shipment schedules for the other models, including the Cannonball Chrono. Try to patient...I'm sure that the Cannonball will be well worth the wait.
    Take care,
    Geoff

    Geoff,

Thanks for the warm welcome and the update! I'm trying my best to be patient. In the meantime, I'm trying to figure out what my next acquisition will be. Some many choices! Now if only I could get that money tree to grow in the backyard...

    Hi Shawn,

I tried growing a money tree, too...it took root, all right, but the only fruit it bore were I.O.U.s...from me to it!

    Good luck with yours!
    Take care,

    Re: Trainmaster Cannonball

Had a look on the Ball site and realized that there is an AD about 5 minutes from my house - DANGER! DANGER! Checkbook alert!

Anyway...had to stop in of course..had a great time checking out the selection: Several EH's including Mad Cow in both colors and the black Chrono which I loved and was really close to pulling the trigger on. However, I really want the Cannonball so I told her to get one in for me ASAP. Unfortunately, she had no idea when they may be available:(

I think this is the nicest looking watch from Ball yet.

    Re: Trainmaster Cannonball

Does this use an ETA 2894 or a 2824 with DD chrono module? Either way, I love how the movement's been modified to count up to 45 minutes instead of the usual 30 minutes-- just like vintage chronos.
The best watch is the one that makes you happiest... and tells the time.
