    Trainmaster Power reserve band options

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've tried Googling this a bunch of different ways and have yet to find an answer.

I'm looking to pick up this particular watch with a ss band, but I'd also like to be able to change it for some different leather bands for different occasions. Is this an option?

    Thanks!

Of course you can put on any strap you want--I wouldn't bother with Ball straps--they're nice, but you could do better for your money in the aftermarket. Personally, I think a good brown gator-patterned leather looks great on the Power Reserve. Here's mine.

    That's perfect!

If I order a Reserve with a metal band, I can swap it for something similar to what you posted?

Yes you can. Either take it to a jeweler to have the bracelet swapped for a leather strap, or buy yourself a good bracelet spring bar tool and do it yourself.

Be sure to find out the lug width for your particular watch so that you know what size strap to buy. From my research it looks to be 21mm, which can be a more difficult size to find with a good selection.

Trainmaster Power Reserve (shown in Timefleas' and my photos) has a 20mm lug width. It's easy to swap out the bracelet for straps with the right spring bar tool.

The Trainmaster Power Reserve is an excellent choice, by the way!

Not my best two photos, but it lets you see that the watch looks good on different straps.

My TrainMaster Power Reserve is a favorite. I'd definitely order with the ss bracelet and pick up a third party strap. I love the vintage look and the power reserve complication. The bracelet is quite handsome and well made.

Also a long time lurker, first time poster lol.

I've a trainmaster with the blue dial, that I sold back in 2015... I personally think that model wears best on a leather strap for dress down, alligator for dress up.
I found myself preferring it on a honey brown strap in summer, deep brown alligator in winter.

I also love the retro look... as I find myself moving away from yellow gold watches, there is likely another Ball in my future !
