Will the Ball Magneto Cordura Strap fit on the Hydrocarbon Black?

They seem to be the same size case, so maybe the strap is the same size? If so, are these straps available yet? I'd like to dress up the Hydrocarbon Black to an acceptable level as a "go to work watch".

All EII watches (Magneto is an EII) have 20 lug widths and do not have the Hydrocarbon series double pin so highly unlikely. Your best bet is to go to a strap maker and have a custom made if Nato are not your thing. This could include someone like Gas-Gas-Bones who makes the military style Nylon. If you search there are a few threads on this.

The Magneto is not even to the prototype level and at best will be here maybe November. Extra spares generally never become available until after a watch is release.

If you wanted an EHC that you could change out the look for more easily the Airborne which comes with the bracelet and strap would have been a better option(although nearly twice the weight on bracelet). The Black is fine for business casual, but your not going to dress it up any more that that. I wore mine in the office all the time with polos and slacks. I'm in a corporate Legal department and we have quite a few in our team who wear divers on rubber (couple Pams, Oris and B&R ).

If you're casual enough that the black case and very, um, "sporty" face of the EHC Black isn't a problem, I don't see why the rubber strap would be.

If you want a reference for a custom strap maker. Look into Greg Steven's Design. Great strap maker and is easy to work with. My AD turned me on to him.
