    103 bracelet not fitting a 103?

Is it possible that a new 103 bracelet that I purchased off a forum member from his 103 wouldn't fit my 103? I can't get the springbars in and a jeweler said the springbars looked like they were a whole bar width away from the hole. Anyone know if the solid end link bracelet takes curved springbars?

    Any insights? Thanks!!

Jay, could be the springs bars are not the correct ones. Possibly too long. There should be no reason the new 103 band won't fit. Could you take a picture or two? Also, if the spring bars are not the correct diameter this could be an issue too. Solid end links are great, but they need to be pretty precise.

Thanks. The springbars are maybe on the thicker side. I'll take a picture of them.

Went to a few places and finagling the bars didn't work but putting in a very narrow pin did. Hopefully it's a durable enough pin but it's definitely in now.

The spring bars that came with my 103 st are 1.5mm wide. I wanted to see of 1.8mm would fit - they won't. At least I couldn't get them to.

I also know what you mean about the bars seeming like the are a whole length away from the hole, as Ive seen the same thing on mine even with the 1.5mm bars. They do fit though. I could be an illusion caused by the angled lugs?

    Good luck.

Thanks. I have springbars that seem like they are not hefty enough for a bracelet because they are so narrow but they work. So hopefully that was the answer and thanks everyone!
