    103 Diapal

Anyone with any long term ownership thoughts or reflections on the watch?

    Re: 103 Diapal

I have a 103 Diapal. Love the watch. Due to the ti it is very light (119 grams on bracelet). If you equate weight to quality you will be disappointed. Even on bracelet it is light. When I purchased I was concerned about the thickness but due to the curved lugs and weight I don't notice. The bracelet works well but I wish it had a non-tool micro adjust like the Pelagos or Planet Ocean. The crown is smooth and the pushers need a positive push so you can't accidentally engage. The ti for me has been durable with very few scratches. The Pelagos is a scratch magnet. My only negative is I am use to a count up bezel versus count down. I was also looking at a 757 but prefer the running second. Looks good on a variety of straps.

The diapal is one of the coolest 103s, no doubt.

Looks good. How do you like the screw down pushers? Do you use the chrono a lot? I like the look but would think having to unscrew to use will get old.
The Tudor Chrono Heritage has those and love the look of it.

I do not use the chrono a lot. However, I think that the screw down pushers, being approximately the same size as a the crown result in a more balanced look.

I borrowed that watch off a friend for awhile. I always loved the damn thing. I ended up buying a Sinn 104 instead though
