Question 103 owners - I need your input pls!

I just received today a 103 ST that I'm considering buying. The seller sent it to me to evaluate first, and I have a few questions as a few things I've noticed I find different to what I'm used to.

1.) The bezel doesn't make any noice when I turn it, it is silent, no clicks at all. Is this normal on this model? I'm used to my EZM1 & 3, which both have very distinct clicking.

2.) The bezel sits very low to the top of the crystal. There is a distinct 'ridge' if I run my finger tip over it. This can be noticed in the attached pictures.

3.) On the caseback, the only writing is the following:
    Steel - Swiss Made - Sinn - 2120807
    Does this sound correct?

Sorry for all the questions, but I just want to make sure the watch is the way it is supposed to be. I totally trust the seller, as I'm familiar with him from another forum I'm on, and also he is local, and I know others who stand by him.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanksin advance,

    Terry B

well it does seem that the wrong bezel is attacthed to the watch. the 103 bezel does not click like a divers watch.

its not supposed to be so low.( no ridge should be there)

    i think it is okay,

the 103 Bezel is no Diver Bezel, there is no click.

i think the Bezel looks okay, it is the simple one of the Sinn 103 st

can you look if there is writen "SWiss Made" at the bottom of the Dial?
possible that it is a older one
    regards

The dial does not say 'Swiss Made' on it.

As far as what you state about it not being a diver bezel also makes sense now that you mention it.

Thanks for the input so far, keep it coming!

the Sinn 103 is a Pilot Watch.

a Pilot Watch has no click or ratch Bezel, you can move it in both directions
without any noise, the Sinn Diver Chrono is the 203 with a Diver Bezel

    regards

    Hello,
everything seems to be alright about your watch. I've got exactly the same model.

Had the same worry about the bezel on my 103 hd - was assured that it was definitely normal!
As for the numbers on caseback - mine says 103.185xx.
In the company of Sinners -
    103 Hd, 142 Ti , 142 Sch, EZM1 LE/3/4, 356, 900, U1, U1 Black, U2, 6100 Regulateur, Lufft-Mechanica.

I think the trickiest part would be acquiring the new capsule!

It's been suggested that the capsule dries and turns white again, so perhaps it's possible to take it out, let it dry, then reinstall it.

Perhaps I'll try it in 5 years
