    856 utc hand running fast

Iíve noticed that the utc hand on my watch will speed up and soon be 2-3 hours ahead of the time originally set. The funny thing is that the main watch function is keeping great time +/- 1-2 sec. I have an email out to the AD, but thought I would post to the forum to see if anyone else had the same issue. Thanks.

Bummer, I’ve never herd of this issue before. Is it under warranty? Hopefully it’ll be a quick easy fix with no parts needed to be special ordered.

    Cheers

Very surprising. I had the 856 UTC for 5 years as a daily wearer. Never had an issue apart from few replacement bits during service in the 5th year before I sold it. Copy Sinn in to your correspondence just in case they can give you the right feedback if they've had it happen to other customers.

Good luck with getting it fixed soon!
if it seems too good to be true...it usually is.

Like Shannon I’ve never heard of such a thing before. With a bit of luck it’ll still be under warranty and you can get it sorted.

Quick update. AD was beyond helpful. They reached out to Sinn and issue seemed to be a new one for them as well. AD replaced the watch right away, so I didnít have to go through service/repair process. Iím just happy to have my watch back.
