Interesting read and makes me appreciate the brand that much more. I also had no idea that the 857 UTC will be on display at the Smithsonian thanks to Robert Alan Eustace's successful high altitiude, and also the longest, free-fall parachute jump record from 135,908 ft (almost 41 and a half kilometers). Robert was wearing a Sinn 857 UTC.
From the safety of my back patio:
Thanks for that! That was a great read and really makes me appreciate what is already my favorite brand even more!

Thanks for sharing! Although my 104 and 556 don’t have any of the sophisticated Sinn technique, this article reminds me of what Sinn is all about.
Thanks for the post; that was interesting.
Damnit. Now I want a Sinn 244 Ti.

Just a normal person with a big enthusiasm for watches and horology in general
Sinn has become its own entity with a growing cult following combining German engineering in a Swiss wristwatch environment. I continually enjoy the presence of its watches and I have the 104 with Arabic numerals. Perfect in every way for me.
