Anyone had their UX oil swapped under warranty

Looking at my new-to-me UX its just over a year old and I see the bounce is there on the secs hand... Id love to get rid of that of course. Has anyone sucessfully had Sinn fix this problem under warranty?

I get asked a lot so, Yep... Im the guy that wrote the PloProf book and also writes for the DeskDivers and PloProf websites. Feel free to visit my website Jon Wallis dot com if you would like to know more about either.

To my understanding swapping the oil from Silcone (original) to Teflon (new) based oil only fixed the discoloration issue with the hands and indices. It does nothing to improve the second hand "bounce" problem some have observed.

Thanks Steve, I thought I read somewhere that the oil fixed the bounce as well, my mistake...

Well, I just picked up this beauty on the SC. It came orginal with the new Teflon oil. When I receive it later this week, I'll let you know about the bounce.

I wonder too. But was afraid to ask, showing my ignorance!

I actually have the same question about the oil change. I just bought a used Sinn UX that is originally from 2006 so it has the silicone oil. The hands and dial are discolored. I'd love to know about other experiences as I will be sending mine in at some point.
    Regards

From what I have read in the past and have seen on the B&R Hydromax, the bounce appearance is related to the second hand flowing through the teflon oil. If you are used to a second hand movement on a non-oil filled watch, then a Hydro (oil filled) watch seconds hand movement will look different to you.
