Thatís a great looking watch. Iím not sure if this is helpful, but this is what I know.
Aristo and Sinn have no relationship or connection, and Sinnís cases are not currently made in Pforzheim by Fricker or anyone else, but rather by Sinnís sister company SUG in Glashutte, Germany. I canít tell you who made either companyís cases back when that watch was made.
Aristo is a brand name owned by Vollmer, which has made watches under a number of different names, including private labels.
Many Aristo watches sell today brand new for less than $500, so it is doubtful that the cases are Fricker at that price point. You could send an e-mail to Mr. Vollmer for more information at [email protected].
This has had a lot of abuse over the years as the sapphire crystal has a couple of scratches but the case is very much as mint really tough at resisting wear also the valjoux 7750 is running flawlessly at 4 seconds a day
Not sure if Vollmer would have a lot of info but I will give them a try it seems the current watches are cheaply made the guy I brought it from thought it was made 1970s or 80s? When was the 144 first made?
