Cool Do I buy the 104 again?

I miss my Sinn watches. I use to have a 104 and recently sold my 556 Anniversary. They both had to go for various reasons but itís left me feeling a void. The 104 left due to wanting to try a Damasko instead. The 556 left because I decided against a grey dial in my collection. Honestly I miss the 104 a lot, it was a great watch. So it just leaves me thinking should I buy a 104 again or do I try another Sinn?

I canít get the 103/356 as I have a Speedy and donít want 2 chronos in my small collection. Donít really want a regular 556 as I liked the 556 Anniversary but didnít love it. The divers except maybe the EZM3 are to big. I donít need anything dressy. The 856/857 are nice tool watches. The U1 is to big.

So do I try another 104? Maybe other Sinn ideas. I could be missing models that I donít think about as much or that a lot of folks love and I havenít tried

Do I buy the 104 again?

Funny, Iíve missed the 104 I that I recently moved on as well. It was crazy accurate at about -2s/day too, which makes it worse. I was thinking of trying the white dial but didnít pull the trigger.

Iíve decided to wait a few more weeks/months to see if the feeling subsides. If it doesnít, I know getting the 104 is relatively easy to do.

    Good luck!

May I ask why you miss the 104 that much? I mean itís a great watch, but there are many other choices...

I had pretty bad experience with Sellita 220-1 in the past. Guess thatís the reason I went with Damasko

I like the look, the feel and just the overall presence of the watch. I have had 2 Damasko also and miss those somewhat but not as much as I do the 104

You wont be the first guy to sell a watch and then buy it back.

Personally, I would try a different dial variant / color next time, if I were to get 104 again.

Re: Do I buy the 104 again?

I think the 104 is a great option, I miss mine as well. However, I kept my EZM3, as it is a unique watch and very uniquely ďSinn.Ē It has a very similar case as the 104, so you might consider the EZM3, depending on whatever else is in your collection.

Also, I previously had a 103 St along with a Speedy Pro. I think they are different enough that they can live together in harmony. In many ways I preferred the 103 to the Speedy. I loved its domed acrylic!

    Good luck!
